Services

We provide private ADHD assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up services delivered by suitably qualified and regulated healthcare professionals, in accordance with recognised UK clinical guidelines.

Scope of service

ADHD Active provides comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, personalised treatment plans, ongoing treatment reviews if required, and ADHD coaching. The specific scope may vary based on the individual.

Service availability

Our telehealth services are available to patients located in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) at the time of the appointment. We do not currently provide telehealth services to patients located outside the UK.

Appointments, payment and fees

Appointments must be booked via our website or official contact channels. ADHD Active operates as a private consultancy and is not covered by the NHS. Payment is taken in advance for self-funding patients, and follow-up appointment fees must be received in full before the appointment takes place. Current fees are listed on our pricing page.

Cancellation policy

If a confirmed appointment is cancelled between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled time (notice during working days only, excluding weekends and bank holidays), we will retain 25% of the fee paid, or you will be responsible for 25% of the fee if it has not already been paid.

If the cancellation occurs within 24 working hours of the confirmed time, or if an appointment is missed, 50% of the fee will be retained, or you will be liable for 50% of the fee if it has not already been paid.

Out-of-hours service

ADHD Active does not offer an out-of-hours or emergency service. For urgent medical advice outside regular hours, please use your local NHS service, such as your GP, NHS 111, or A&E if appropriate.

Responsibilities of the parties

Effective communication and collaboration between the service provider and the patient are essential for successful treatment. ADHD Active is responsible for involving patients in decision-making, providing progress updates and addressing enquiries promptly. Patients are expected to share information openly, actively participate in treatment and adhere to agreed plans.

Records and privacy

We are committed to GDPR compliance, with transparent data practices, explicit user consent and minimal data collection. Rigorous security measures and access controls safeguard against unauthorised access, and privacy-by-design principles guide our systems. No hard copy of data is retained.
